Here is a video clip that I made for the Kindergarten class that I work with. The video has been used to teach the classroom teachers the motions so that they can teach it to their students. They also posted it to their class website so that the parents could learn the motions too! Now you can as well!

1st grade neighborhood study
My 1st grade students are doing a neighborhood study. They will research businesses and resources in our neighborhood and then visit these places. During their visits, they will interview the proprietor. Here is a google search engine I created to assist the students in researching which businesses they will visit and assist them in creating interview questions. The students typically visit a pizza shop, the post office, the Central Library, Prospect Park (zoo, carousel, park ranger), Botanic Garden, bike shop, and the food coop - all which are walking distance from our school
